United Airlines no longer accepts emotional support dogs on flights. ![]() Customers should also remember that United Airlines no longer sell or provide crates at airport facilities. PetSafe does not accept crates taller than 30", including the 700 series crates. Food and water dishes must be securely attached to the inside of the crate and must be accessible from the outside so they can be filled without opening the door. For pets traveling with PetSafe, carriers must be large enough for your pet to move freely and stand with its head erect, to turn around and to lie down in a normal position, and be tall enough to provide enough room for your pet to stand and sit without its head and ears touching the top. Your dog must be able to stand up and safely turn around in their carrier. Hard-sided carriers can be a maximum of 17.5" x 12" x 7.5" (44 cm x 30 cm x 19 cm) and soft-sided carriers can be a maximum of 18" x 11" x 11" (46 cm x 28 cm x 28 cm). For pets traveling with you in the cabin, carriers must be hard or soft-sided.
